Our Southern African Dream Trip

We always dreamt of renewing our wedding vows in Southern Africa, where we could combine a safari and beach experience. Our friends recently got back from their trip and raved about their stay, giving us guidelines on who, what, where an how for our trip. It felt like a mission trying to piece a two weeks stay on the internet and it seemed too much hassle until we were referred to an agent who just weaved our dream into an itinerary that we could only dream of.

Two weeks went by soooooooooo fast as we look back on our trip... the most memorable trip ever!
We start our stay by arriving in Cape Town and being transferred by road to our hotel on the famous waterfront, where we based ourselves for the next 3 nights. We explored the Cape, doing all the really awesome touristy things from a sidecar trip to the Winelands, dining at very exotic places and not to mention drinking really good wine on mountain tops. Our stay was fabulous and before we knew it, we were in the Sabi Sands, looking lion in their eyes from an open 4x4 ranger. How exciting!

We were wowed by our safari experience for an entire 4 nights and went on every game drive.  We also walked in the bush with our tracker ranger who took us through really special experiences that we otherwise would have missed. We explored the Big 5 as well as the Little 5... and the Ugly 5... HAHAHAHAHA!! We had an experience that was etched in our hearts forever and of hips for a lifetime!

From thickets of the bush to white sandy beaches and saga dancing... like where else in the world can you have such an amazing experience. Mauritius was AMAZING!!! The best way we could have ended our Southern African stay... sun, siesta and sea! We spent 5 heavenly nights at a really stunning resort. This is where we also renewed our vows. Such a special experience was complete with a videographer and minister to capture those extra special moments.

We shared our magical experience with our friends, who all are now planning for their own experiences... and we might be going back soon too as our trip was just the tip of the iceberg.
