Namaqua Flower Adventure

The beauty of the annual Spring wildflowers of Namaqualand is an unforgettable and uplifting experience filling the senses with a vibrant array of colours, sweet aromas, the buzz of myriad insects and showcasing mother nature at her finest. Add to this your very own expert natural history guide, a selection of cosy hand-picked guest houses and sumptuous local country cuisine and you have the essence of our Spring flower adventure. As the peak flowering season is condensed into 4 short weeks, we recommend booking your place as early as possible.

Seasonal variation in flowers:
The flowers are totally dependent on the weather and rainfall conditions from year to year. We schedule all our tours to depart at the peak flowering period (mid Aug- mid Sept); however, we cannot guarantee that the weather conditions will be optimal in advance. We reserve the right to change the itinerary to include the best flowering regions for each tour departure and should the weather conditions affect the flower display your guide will ensure that you discover the best natural highlights of each region.
